JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man is facing felony charges following an incident Saturday morning at UPMC Chautauqua.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the First Platoon responded to UPMC Chautauqua at approximately 11:12 a.m. on July 25, 2026, for a report of a disorderly individual.

Following an investigation, police allege that Tony L. Mosley, 34, of Jamestown, assaulted a hospital staff member and caused thousands of dollars in damage to hospital equipment.

Mosley was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He has been charged with:

  • Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree
  • Assault in the Second Degree

Mosley was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

As always, all individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
