A 56-year-old Jamestown man is facing multiple charges following a reported harassment incident Thursday morning at a business on the west side of the City of Jamestown.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, First Platoon officers were dispatched at approximately 7:45 a.m. on September 10 for a harassment complaint.
Police said a female victim reported that an unknown male approached her vehicle and began yelling threats at her while her 11-year-old son was inside the vehicle. The male then allegedly entered the business and began yelling at two female juveniles related to the victim.
After reviewing photographs, officers identified the male as 56-year-old Christopher Frederick of Jamestown.
Officers later responded to Frederick’s residence. Police said a brief struggle occurred while officers attempted to take him into custody.
Frederick was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Charges
Christopher Frederick was charged with:
- Harassment 2nd Degree
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2 Counts
- Resisting Arrest
The case was investigated by the Jamestown Police Department under Incident #26042-26.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
