JAMESTOWN, NY — A traffic stop Saturday morning led to the arrest of a 43-year-old Jamestown woman after police reported recovering methamphetamine and packaging materials.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, First Platoon officers were patrolling near E. 6th Street and Lincoln Street at approximately 9:14 a.m. on September 13, 2026, when they observed Anne E. Robbins, 43, of Jamestown, operating a vehicle while allegedly having suspended New York State driving privileges.

Police conducted a traffic stop and reported recovering a quantity of methamphetamine and packaging materials from the vehicle.

Robbins was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and charged with:

• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree
• Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree
• Improper Plates
• Uninspected Motor Vehicle
• Unregistered Motor Vehicle
• Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree

She was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court, according to police.

The media release was prepared by Officer Conklin and approved by Sergeant Weaver.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
