JAMESTOWN, NY — Jamestown Police report that officers responded to the Kwik Fill near West 3rd Street and Hunt Avenue at approximately 4:18 a.m. on August 26 for a report of a woman asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Police identified the driver as Jessie J. Estus, 30, of Lakewood. According to JPD, an investigation determined that Estus had been driving while her ability was impaired by drugs. Officers also reported finding her in possession of a quantity of pills classified as controlled substances.

Estus was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Charges: • DWAI Drugs & Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

She was later released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Jamestown City Court.
