On Sunday, November 17, 2019 at approximately 7:53 PM, witnesses report a dark colored Dodge Charger and a 2013 Dodge Durango racing each other at a high rate of speed w/b on the Kensington Expressway in the Town of Cheektowaga. The Durango passed a 2017 Jeep, making contact with the Jeep, just east of the Harlem Road exit, causing the Jeep to strike the guardrail and damage approximately 40 feet of guardrail. The Durango lost control and struck the Jersey Barrier causing extreme damage to the Durango. Witnesses then observe the driver and all occupants of the Durango exit the Durango and get picked up by another unknown vehicle. The Charger continued w/b into the City of Buffalo. Witnesses estimate the speeds of the Charger and Durango at well over 100 mph. A passenger in the Jeep, struck by the Durango, suffered minor injuries.
