Two Suspects Arrested On Felony Drug Charges By ECSO.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of an Olean male and an Amherst male on drug-related charges following a traffic stop on August 25.

Deputies stopped a southbound vehicle on Route 219 Extension in the Village of Springville for vehicle and traffic law violations. The Deputies discovered the operator’s license was suspended and placed him into custody.

The subsequent search of the vehicle discovered two plastic bags containing approximately 77 grams of cocaine, hypodermic needs with suspected heroin residue, and a bag of suspected heroin.

The driver, 31-year-old Patrick Hirliman of Olean, and the passenger, 23-year-old Jaydaicus Black of Buffalo, were arrested.

Hirliman is charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a narcotic. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Black is charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a narcotic. He is also charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

The defendants were taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending their arraignment.
