An Officer observed a vehicle on Erie St traveling at a high rate of speed, confirmed with radar to be 50mph in a 30mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted and the vehicles registration showed a suspended status. The driver stated they had unpaid parking tickets out of Buffalo. The driver was issued UTTs and released at the scene. The vehicle was towed and the suspended license plates were confiscated.
Patrol was dispatched to Transit Rd for a two car accident. The driver of the at-fault vehicle was found to have a suspended NYS driver’s license. In addition, the driver was found to have an outstanding bench warrant from the Town of Cheektowaga. The driver was taken into custody without incident, issued UTTs and transported to Cheektowaga PD for the warrant.
Lancaster dispatch handled 103 requests for emergency medical services.
An Officer conducting a traffic detail On Harris Hill Rd was alerted to a vehicle with a suspended registration by the automated license plate reader.
The suspension was confirmed showing it was suspended for insurance not in effect. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was issued UTTs. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the suspended license plates were confiscated.
Patrol was dispatched to a Genesee St warehouse for an unwelcome guest, refusing to leave the parking lot. The Subject was driving a tractor-trailer and stated he just finished dropping a trailer off at the warehouse and was taking a nap before his next destination. While speaking with the Subject, it was discovered that he had an extraditable warrant out of Pennsylvania. The warrant was confirmed with the Pennsylvania State Police and the Subject was taken into custody. The Subject was transported to the station for booking and later transported to the Erie County Holding Center to await extradition. The tractor-trailer was towed from the scene.

An Officer observed a vehicle back out of a driveway on Harris Hill Rd in front of another vehicle, failing to yield the right-of-way. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, a 35 year old male from Buffalo, was found to have two outstanding warrants from the City of Buffalo. He was taken into custody and the vehicle was turned over to a family member who had turned up at the scene. The Subject was transported to Airport Plaza in Cheektowaga to meet Buffalo PD and turn the Subject over. While waiting for Buffalo Police to arrive, the Subject, in the back of the patrol car, attempted to pull his pants down and stated he was going to urinate on the Officer while yelling profanities and threatening the Officer. Buffalo police arrived and the Subject was turned over without further incident.
Patrol responded to the area of Genesee St and Pavement Rd for a vehicle that was swerving all over the road, driving slowly and was driving off the road. The vehicle was located and stopped on Pavement Rd at Walden Ave. Patrol reported that it was a student driver who was advised of the complaint.
