Shoplifting Investigation Leads Deputies to Finding Several Narcotics.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports 39-year-old Lindsey Kadin of Delevan was arrested on drug-related charges following a shoplifting investigation on March 14.

Deputies responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Springville Walmart at approximately 9:51 P.M. The store’s loss prevention personnel had stopped the defendant after observing her taking a pair of socks and leaving the store without paying for the item.

Kadin was taken to the Springville Substation for processing. There, Deputies discovered various containers containing crystal meth, Hydrocodone, concentrated cannabis, Oxycontin, and Oxycodone.

She was charged with a misdemeanor count petit larceny, five misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana, and possessing a controlled substance not in the original container.

She was later released with appearance tickets for Springville court.
