Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports deputies arrested a man after a traffic investigation discovered twenty-six active suspensions on his license.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on November 30, a deputy stopped a vehicle on East Park Road in Grand Island after observing vehicle and traffic law violations. The investigation discovered the suspensions on Gregory Dinsmore’s New York State driver’s license.
Dinsmore, 53, of Grand Island, was arrested and charged with a felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with 10 or more suspensions and two vehicle and traffic law violations. Deputies also discovered that Dinsmore had an outstanding warrant from the New York State Police.
The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending future court appearances.
