Erie County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Logs For The Town of Clarence From June 5th Through June 11th.

06/05/21:

Deputies responded to an address on Main Street for a report of a disturbance. A twenty-three year-old male was charged with criminal mischief for damaging property that belonged to his girlfriend. He was remanded to the holding center pending arraignment.

A male called from an address on Roseville Lane. The male stated that his ex-girlfriend had made threats to harm him and his property. The incident is under investigation.


A burglar alarm was reported at a residence on Stahley Road. Deputies checked the residence and found it to be secure.


06/06/21:

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of Eastern Hills Mall. A male in a blue Subaru appeared to be intoxicated and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. The vehicle left prior to patrols arrival.


A resident of Cobblestone Drive reported that an ill raccoon was stumbling around the area. The animal went under a neighbor’s porch.


A disturbance was reported at an address on Salt Road. A man and his girlfriend had been arguing and he went for a walk to cool down.


A caller reported seeing someone with a flashlight in an abandoned house on Heise Road. Deputies checked the property and nobody was around.


06/07/21:

Deputies attempted to serve a warrant at an address on Shimerville Road. The male was not home.


A caller reported that someone had attempted to scam her by claiming to have a warrant for her because her social security number had been used for criminal activity. This is a common scam.


A caller from Boyd Drive reported that several eggs had been thrown at her house. Patrol checked the area with negative results.


06/08/21:

An elderly caller reported hearing loud voices and music near the bike path south of Rock Oak Estates. Patrols checked the area with negative results.


A caller called from an address on Salt Road asking police to come help get his six-year-old in the car to go to school. The child had bolted and he could not find him. The child returned when he saw the police car.


A vehicle was repossessed from an address on Transit Road. The owner was not aware.


An elderly driver drove passed a road closed sign on salt Road and sped through a work zone, running over a highway workers foot. The worker was not injured. The plate given to police was not correct.


06/09/21:

Deputies went to address on Schurr Road at the request of Genesee County Sheriffs. A vehicle registered to the address has passed a stopped school bus three times in the past week. The male was advised to contact Genesee County Sheriffs.


A caller reported a group of teens racing ATV’s and dirt bikes around the town park on Kraus Road. Patrol located the youths and advised them to stay off of Town Property.


A vehicle was repossessed at a residence on Kalayne Lane. The owner was not aware.


06/10/21:

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Transit Road for a lighting violation. The driver was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. A white powdery substance was taken the central police services laboratory for testing and possible further charges.


A resident of Cotherstone Circle turned in some ammunition that had belonged to her deceased husband. The items were taken for destruction.


Patrols responded to Feel Rite Fresh Mart for a disorderly person. An employee had been terminated and she was refusing to leave. She was advised and left without further incident.


06/11/21:

Deputies responded to a noise complaint on Main Street. The horn was going off on a wrecked vehicle at a collision shop. Patrol contacted the owner to come in and disconnect the horn so that the caller could sleep.


Two subjects took items and ran out of J. C. Penny’s without paying. Patrol chcked the area with negative results.


A male called from an address on Fairlane Drive. He stated that someone had stolen his car. The male called back. His wife had parked the vehicle down the street at a neighbor’s house.
