02/13/21:
A resident of East Avenue reported hearing a noise outside. When she looked out the window she saw a male reach into the car and grab a gun and then the male ran into a neighbor’s house. There was no gun. He had grabbed ice cream from the vehicle.
A resident of Valley Stream Road reported that a male was outside pounding on his door claiming that he owed him money. The caller wanted the male removed. Patrol checked the area and the male was gone.
02/14/21:
Deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street for failure to maintain lane. The driver admitted to having been drinking a few beers. Thomas Polony was charged with driving while intoxicated. His breath test showed his blood alcohol content to be the legal limit .08 of one percent. He was released on an appearance ticket to a sober friend.
A male called from an address on Meadow Brook Road. He was mad because his family would not give him his car keys. The males license had been suspended so he could not drive and he was advised by patrol. He got a ride to a hotel from a friend.
02/15/21:
A female called about a suspicious male who was walking around her residence on Tuscany Lane. He was from the gas company.
A resident of Goodrich Road reported that someone had filed for unemployment benefits using her personal information.
02/16/21:
Deputies were called to Auto Zone for a report of theft by an employee. The store manager had been reviewing video and had noticed an employee taking money out of the register during transactions with customers. Anthony Whiting was charged with petit larceny for admitting to the theft of approximately two hundred dollars.
Police received multiple reports of unlocked vehicles that were gone through in the Coventry Green Apartment complex. Lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables in your car.
A resident of Ransom Road reported that someone had used his information to file for unemployment benefits.
02/17/21:
A male called from Howard Drive. He had interrupted a group of males who had pulled up in a pickup truck who were intending to steal his car which was idling in his driveway. Don’t leave your car idling unattended in your driveway because there have been a rach of auto thefts in the western NY area.
A resident of Capstone Court reported that a 9mm pistol was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
A caller reported that someone had stolen her wallet from her cast while she was shopping at Walmart.
02/18/21:
A resident of Oak Leaf Lane reported that someone went through his unlocked vehicles overnight and had stolen change and small items.
A resident of Wehrle Drive reported that someone stole two plow controllers from unlocked vehicles during the night.
A resident of Strickler Road reported that someone had gone through his unlockerd vehicle during the night.
02/19/21:
A resident of Strickler Road reported two males appeared to be going through vehicles. Both males were intoxicated and they claimed they were looking for the home of a friend.
A resident of Roll Road reported that someone had filed for unemployment using her personal information.
Three teens reported that they had left their ice skates unattended while using the rest room and the skates had been stolen.
