Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for the Southtowns from 2/10 Through 2/16.

Town of Boston.

02.10.23:

Road Obstruction.

Lower East Hill Rd.

-Patrol responded to Lower East Hill Rd at about midnight for a road obstruction after a large tree fell into the roadway. The tree was eventually removed from the roadway without incident.


02.16.23:

Vehicle Fire.

Boston State Rd.

-Patrol responded to Boston State Rd after receiving reports of a vehicle on fire. No injuries were reported, and the fire was eventually extinguished by the fire department without further incident. A police report was filed by Patrol.


Town of Colden.

02.11.23:

Referral.

Crump Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Crump Rd after receiving a report of a utility pole that had broken off at its base. The pole was located and the utility company was subsequently notified and responded to the scene to repair the pole.


Town of Collins.

02.11.23:

Suspicious Incident.

Unger Rd.

-Patrol responded to the area of Unger Rd at about 11:30 pm after a caller reported hearing a loud explosion somewhere in the area. Patrol checked the area, however nothing suspicious was able to be located and no further complaints were received.


Town of Concord.

02.10.23:

Vehicle Off The Roadway.

Route 219 Ex.

-Patrol responded to the Route 219 Ex after receiving a report of a vehicle that had left the roadway and become stuck in the median. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was eventually recovered by roadside service.


Town of Springville.

02.10.23:

Neighbor Dispute.

W Main St.

-Patrol responded to a W Main St residence at about 7:00 am for a neighbor dispute after a complainant called with complaints regarding a neighbor shining a light outside. Patrol interview both parties and both were advised. 02.12.23 DWI S Cascade Dr Following a traffic stop and subsequent investigation, Patrol did arrest Gregory Hodges, 33 years old of Springville NY, for DWI after he was found to be driving while intoxicated. Mr Hodges was charged with DWI as well as various other traffic offenses, and was eventually released with an appearance ticket.


Town of Holland

02.11.23:

Alarm.

Holland Glenwood Rd.

-Patrol responded to a Holland Glenwood Rd address after receiving a burglary alarm activation from the residence. Upon investigation, the alarm was determined to be a false alarm.


02.11.23:

Property Damage Accident.

Holland Glenwood Rd.

-Patrol responded to Holland Glenwood Rd for a property damage accident, after a vehicle struck a deer that had run into the roadway. No injuries were reported, however,, the vehicle was eventually towed from the scene due to damage from the accident.


Town of Sardinia.


02.10.23:

Property Damage Accident.

Savage Rd.

-Patrol responded to a Savage Rd address after a caller reported that sometime overnight a vehicle had struck his mailbox. Patrol was eventually able to locate the striking vehicle, and an accident report was filed by Patrol.


02.15.23:

Traffic Complaint.

Olean Rd.

-Patrol responded to the area of Olean Rd for a report of a pickup truck, driving recklessly through the area. Patrol was able to locate the vehicle, however it was parked and left unoccupied prior to Patrol’s arrival. No further complaints were received and the incident was documented by Patrol.
