Erie County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Logs For Marilla and Alden From 12-19-20 Through 12-25-20.


12/19/20:

Two vehicles parked on West Main Street were struck by a third vehicle a possible witness stated he saw a early 2000’s dark colored Ford Explorer with a brush guard strike the vehicles and then took of on Broadway into Alexander. The witness states he has seen a similar vehicle at the Blackwater Tavern on several occasions.


Deputies responded to an address on Bullis Road for a burglar alarm. It had been set off by a family member.


Deputies responded to Hemstreet Road for a disturbance. A female stated her boyfriend had been drunk and started pushing people around and making threats and had then left in a dark colored Jeep. The male called and stated that the woman had hit him and the woman’s son had threatened him with a knife. An incident report was completed and a domestic violence specialist was going to follow up with the female.


12/20/20:

First aid responded to Clearvue Drive for a male who possibly had a stroke. The male was transported to the hospital.


12/21/20:

Police were dispatched to a possible road rage incident at the parking lot of McDonald’s.


Police responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call at Sitzman’s Maytag. It appears to have been a problem with the phone lines.


12/22/20:

A resident of Four Rod Road reported that two known individuals had stolen checks from him and had forged checks written to themselves for approximately $2700.00. The incident is under investigation.

Police were sent to an address on Broadway for a welfare check of a male. The male refuses to open the door.


12/23/20:

Deputies responded to an alarm at the Alden Medical Group. It had been set off by an employee.


A resident of Eastwood Road stated that his neighbor’s dog had bitten his hand. He stated that the bite did not break the skin because he was wearing gloves. The dog control officer was advised.


12/24/20:

Inmate Hommys Rivera-Lopez was charged with harassment in the first degree after he allegedly threw urine onto an employee at the county correctional facility.


A resident of Bush Gardens was victimized by a scammer. The complainant stated that a person called claiming that she had won a jackpot from Publishers Clearinghouse. The person claimed that in order to get her money she would have to send a check for $3500.00 to cover the taxes.


12/25/20:

Deputies responded to Broadway near Sandridge Road for a vehicle that had spun out and crashed into a guide rail.


A vehicle slid off of North Millgrove Road causing damage to a mailbox and a fence.
