Burglary - Residence

Cardinal Ln.

Deputies received a call from family in regards to their father’s house being entered. They had moved father out about 3 months ago and sometime after that someone entered the house and took items. Scene was processed and detectives are handling the case.

Assist Other Police Agency

Grand Island Bd.

State Police and Deputies were asked to respond to an address to locate a male involved with stealing items at the University. Subject was located, detained, and turned over to University Police.

Suspicious Incident

Wheelhouse Marine.

Deputies responded to a truck with two males taking parts off of a boat in the dark. Deputies located the truck driving and initiated a traffic stop. Occupants were simply getting something from their boat and everything checked out, they were sent on their way.

DWI/Alcohol

Baseline Rd.

Deputies responded to an accident on Baseline Rd. involving a Jeep and a pole, caller said the driver was trying to leave. Upon arrival deputies located the vehicle and driver, who had struck several poles and a street sign. The driver, Halee Liger (24), was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested and taken to the station where she took a breathalyzer test. She recorded a BAC of .16, which is twice the legal limit. She was processed and released to her boyfriend.

Mental Health.

Center Ct.

Deputies were called by Crisis Services in regards to a welfare check at the listed address. Daughter reporting that her mother is out of control and throwing things. Deputies spoke with both parties and it appears that mom has an alcohol addiction. Mother was transported by Twin City Ambulance to Kenmore Mercy Hospital for MHL 22.09 relating to alcohol related issues.
