Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol logs for Elma, Marilla, Wales and Holland from 1/27 Through 2/2.

1/27: Vehicle off Roadway. Rte 400 @ Rice Rd. -Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch near the woods. The driver was uninjured and called AAA already. Not a hazard.

1/27: Vehicle off Roadway. Rte 400 @ Transit Rd. -Deputies responded to a vehicle off the roadway. Patrol was unable to locate the vehicle. Possibly removed already. 1/27: Accident - Injury. Girdle Rd @ Griffin La. -Deputies responded to a vehicle off the roadway. Female driver complained of head pain but refused first aid on the scene. AAA removed the vehicle. Accident report was completed. 1/27: Suspicious Vehicle. Caroline La. -Complainant reports three youths in a vehicle for quite awhile. The vehicle left prior to patrols’ arrival. A possible plate comes back to a residence down the street. 1/27: Assist – Other. Transit Rd @ Clinton St. -Vehicle was removed from the road by Transit towing. The owner of the vehicle called tow agency directly. 1/27: Accident. Seneca Rd. -Complainant reports striking a parked vehicle in the lot. Deputies completed an accident information exchange form and issued to both vehicle owners. 1/27: Suspicious Incident. Oakgrove Ct. -Complainant reports his credit card was attempted to be used at Lowes for $6,700. The card was declined. The complainant is not out of any money. Patrol will try to follow up on the incident. 1/27: Suspicious Vehicle. Girdle Rd. -Deputies came across a vehicle in the lot after hours. The driver was advised the park was closed and to come back when it reopened. 1/28: Domestic. Girdle Rd. -Deputies responded to a domestic in progress. First aid responded for injuries to three parties involved. One male was arrested and transported to the holding center. Domestic incident report completed. Arrest report and police report are complete. Weapons were removed from the residence and secured for safekeeping. 1/28: Alarm. Bowen Rd. -Fire responded for a medical alarm. False alarm 1/28: Alarm. Transit Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. A manager reported an accidental trip.

1/28: Dead Body. Ostrander Rd. -Complainant reported finding her brother deceased. Primary care physician to sign the death certificate. The medical examiner notified and released the body to the funeral home. Police report completed. 1/29: Assist Person.

Girdle Rd. -Subject called asking if there was an Order of Protection against him. Patrol checked but did not find anything. The subject was advised to double-check with the court in question to see if one was issued but not entered into the system yet. 1/30: Parking Violation. Maple Rd. -Complainant states a semi-truck is partially blocking a driveway. Patrol spoke to the driver that was sleeping in the cab. The driver moved the truck 1/30: Mental. Treehaven La. -Deputies responded to check the welfare of a male that was making suicidal statements to a female. After speaking with the male, patrol determined he met MHL 9.41 criteria and was transported to ECMC. The weapon in the residence was secured for safekeeping in an evidence locker. 1/31: Motorist Broke Down. Bullis Rd @ Bowen Rd. -Deputies located a vehicle on the shoulder of the road. Driver called for private tow already. Waiting on a ride from a friend to come get them. 1/31: Accident. Rte 400 @ Transit Rd. -State plow truck was rear-ended by another vehicle. No injuries were reported to patrol. The vehicle was towed from the scene. An accident report was completed. 1/31: Road Obstruction. Transit RD @ N Blossom Rd. -Deputies responded to a large object in the road. The object was mostly removed prior to the patrols' arrival. Some small debris still in the roadway. 1/31: Assist Person. Bowen Rd. -Complainant wanted to report an accident from earlier in the day. No damage to private property. Complainant will take care of the damages to the vehicle. 1/31:

Accident Hit & Run. Jamison Rd @ Seneca Rd. -Complainant reported his vehicle was struck the night prior in the parking lot. The business is checking video footage of the lot. Vehicle was drivable. The complainant has been given a CL number. 1/31: Suspicious person w/ vehicle. Tracy Dr @ Girdle Rd. -Complainant stated the driver of a vehicle on the shoulder of the road appeared very nervous or scared. Patrol checked the area with negative results. 2/1: Alarm. Bullis Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Premises were checked and the residence was secured. No new tracks in the fresh snow. 2/1: Alarm. Hidden Valley Dr. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Fresh tire tracks leaving the residence. Neighbors confirmed the homeowner just left prior to patrol's arrival. Residence secure. 2/1: Alarm. W Maple Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Employee error with alarm. 2/2: Fire Vehicle. Rte 400 @ Pound Rd. -Complainant reports her brakes are on fire. No injuries were reported to patrol. The fire was put out quickly. Tow truck called for the disabled trailer. 2/2: Alarm. Springbrook Shores. -Deputies responded to a medical alarm activation. No contact on call back. The fire department reported an accidental trip. 2/2: Animal Complaint. Jamison Rd @ Creek. -Complainant states they witnessed a deer in the creek yesterday and today is appears to be in the same spot. Possibly frozen in place but still alive. Deer walked off when patrol got close. 2/2: Suspicious Person. Caroline La @ Girdle Rd. -Complainant states there was a young male (possibly a teenager) chasing a vehicle with handcuffs. Another vehicle with two young females was parked nearby. Unknown if it was associated or not. Neither vehicle could be located when patrol checked the area. 2/2: Assist Person. Clinton St. -Complainant called to report a sign with a vulgarity on it. He was upset that children would be able to see it. He was advised that due to fire speech, nothing could be done with the sign. 2/2: Accident. Rte 400 @ Maple Rd. -Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, however, one driver did get transported to the medical center for treatment for a panic attack. Neither vehicle was towed. An accident information exchange was completed and issued to both drivers. 2/2: Fire Chimney. Pound Rd. -Deputies responded to a chimney fire. No injuries were reported to patrol. The fire department cleared the chimney and residents would be allowed to re-enter the residence.

Town: Holland

1/28: Welfare Check. Savage Rd. -Complainant requested a welfare check for a mother and son. Neither of them are responding to texts or phone calls. Patrol spoke to the tenant that stated both were on vacation and due back later in the day. Complainant advised.

1/28: Unknown Trouble. S Main St. -Deputies responded to an unknown trouble call. A Male and female had a verbal argument. The female left in her vehicle. The male was given a courtesy ride to a nearby motel. 1/30: Assist Other / Police. Phillips Rd. -East Aurora Police requested Deputies to check an address for them. Deputies reported a vehicle in the driveway but no answer from the residence. Information was relayed to EAPD. 1/31: Assist Person. Partridge Rd. - ECSO-SRO received an email. He reached out to a family to inquire about a possible bullying issue. SRO to handle and assist in the matter. 1/31: Vehicle Off Roadway. Vermont St. -Deputies responded to a vehicle down an embankment. No injuries were reported to patrol. Tow on location to retrieve the vehicle. Tow sheet and accident report were completed. 2/1: Threat. Partridge Rd. -Student claimed to have received a message stating someone was going to cause harm at the school. The school was notified as well as the subject’s social worker. The student believed the threat was real but could not show any proof of the threat. The social media app confirmed the accusations to be false. No message was sent or received. 2/1: Assist Person. Olean Rd. -Complainant states he was charged twice for the gas that he pumped. He is currently working with the store to look into the matter. The manager states they are looking into the incident and will make it right. Civil matter at this time. ** Deputies assisted State Police on numerous calls this week** ** Several First Aid calls handled during the week**

Town: Marilla

1/27: Vehicle off Roadway. Clinton St. -Deputies responded to a vehicle on its side. No injuries were reported to patrol. EMS denied. The vehicle was towed from the scene. An accident report was completed. 1/27: Assist Person. Two Rod Rd. -Complainant reported her computer was hacked. She was advised by her bank to file a report. She suffered no financial loss and the bank closed all accounts. The computer has since been taken to the professional tech department and had it “wiped” clean. 1/27: Suspicious Incident. Two Rod Rd. -Complainant states there is a white van in the driveway across the street and does not think it should be there. Van turned out to be a contractor working on the house. 1/27: Accident. Clinton St. -Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a school bus. There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported to patrol. Accident information exchange form was filled out and issued to both drivers. 1/30: Accident – PDO. Bullis Rd. -Deputies responded to a vehicle vs a tree accident. No injuries were reported to patrol. An accident report was completed. 2/1: Welfare Check. Hemstreet Rd. -Deputies responded to check the welfare of a young male. No answer at the door. The mother did not answer any phone calls from patrol. No vehicle on location at the residence. Information was relayed to the original complainant. 2/2: Assist Person. Stolle Rd. -Complainant reported his phone stolen to another police agency last week. He was finally able to sign in and locate his phone with GPS. Patrol assisted by contacting someone inside the residence. They found the phone and placed it on a charger waiting for someone to reach out in order to return it. The phone was returned without incident. 2/2: Welfare Check. Tomarsue Dr. -Deputies responded to check on a male that was not acting right. First aid responded and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. ** Deputies assisted State Police on numerous calls this week** ** Several First Aid calls handled during the week**

Town: Wales

1/27: Vehicle off Roadway. Warner Hill Rd. -Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch. The driver called for a private tow. Vehicle winched out of the ditch. 1/30: Alarm. Big Tree Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Patrol contacted keyholder and ensured the building was secure. 1/30: Alarm. Strykersville Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Alarm was canceled prior to patrol arriving on scene. 1/30: Alarm. Woodchuck Rd. -Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Alarm was accidentally set off by a child on location. No issues. 1/30: Assist Person. Olean Rd. -Deputies responded to complaints of a possible violation of an order of protection. Deputies informed both parties of the terms of the order of protection. Domestic incident report completed. Police report completed.

2/1: Accident. Fish Hill Rd @ Maple Hill Rd. -Deputies responded to a report of an accident. No vehicle accident could be found. Patrol was able to find the owner of the phone. He stated that he slipped on the ice and fell down. His Apple Watch alerted Apple to report an accident. No injuries were reported and no further assistance was required. 2/1: Welfare Check. Olean Rd. -Complainant reports his mother coughing up blood. Deputies contacted the individual that stated she had been sick for a few days. She declined any further assistance and stated if she needs further assistance, she will reach out. 2/2: Suspicious Incident. Reiter Rd. -Complainant received surveys in the mail and today someone knocked on the front door for an interview. One of the surveys was from the Census Bureau. All information on the survey matched records found on the internet. The survey was legit. ** Deputies assisted State Police on numerous calls this week** ** Several First Aid calls handled during the week**
