Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Marine unit were busy this weekend with assisting four disabled vessels and issuing twenty-four speeding, registration, equipment, registration tickets and made one BWI arrest.
On June 18, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Marine Unit Deputies Coulombe and Okal stopped a vessel on the Niagara River near the Harbor Place Marina for operating without running lights.
The Deputies’ investigation resulted in a BWI arrest of Mark Judd, 53 of Buffalo. The defendant was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to be in Buffalo City Court on July 7.
