Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard and the Northtown Automotive Companies announced today a free car seat safety check on Saturday, June 30.
The two organizations have partnered to offer this event at the Northtown Mazda location at 3920 Sheridan Drive, Amherst, NY. The free event will run from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Deputies will provide free seat inspections and installations as well as instructions for proper installation of car seats.
The Northtown Companies has purchased $3000.00 worth of car seats and is generously donating the seats for this and future events. If a Deputy discovers a damaged or expired car seat, Northtown will provide free replacements to the parent or guardian as long as the child is present.
