ECSO Patrol Logs for Town and Village of Alden, NY from 1/28 Through 2/3.

TOWN OF ALDEN

01/28/23:

Alarm Burglary @ Business.

Walden Avenue.

-Deputies responded to a Burglary Alarm at Dollar General after business hours. All appeared secure. Deputies made contact with the keyholder and advised.


01/28/23:

Traffic Complaint.

Crittenden at Genesee.

-Deputies checked the area of Crittenden and Genesee for a complaint of a blue Chevy all over the road. Deputies located the vehicle at Rite Aid and checked the welfare of its driver. The driver was not sick or intoxicated, and was advised of the complaint.


01/28/23:

Unknown Trouble.

Millgrove Road.

-Caller reported the sound of a female yelling at another person to “get out”. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the source.


01/28/23:

Motorist Broke Down

Genesee Street.

-Deputies checked on a broken down motorist on Genesee street. As deputies arrived the registered owner was pulling up to take care of the vehicle. No further assistance was needed.


02/01/23:

Accident Hit & Run.

Three Rod Road.

-Caller reported that overnight their tree was struck by a vehicle. No cameras, or identifying pieces of the vehicle. The complainant was advised on how to proceed.


02/01/23:

Assistance/Drunk

Greenfield Drive.

Wife called to report that her husband is trying to leave the house drunk. Before Deputies arrived the husband turned off the vehicle and returned to the house. All parties were advised.


02/02/23:

Vehicle off the Roadway.

Walden Ave.

-Report of a vehicle in the ditch in front of 7Eleven. Deputies responded and a tow was on location winching the vehicle out. An accident report was completed.


02/03/23:

Accident Property Damage,

Walden Ave.

-Report of a two-vehicle accident in the 7-Eleven lot. No injuries were reported and Transit Towing responded for the tows, Accident report was completed.


Village of Alden


01/28/23:

Injury Accident.

Savage Road at Railroad Street.

-Deputies responded to an injury accident. Vehicle stuck by train while crossing the tracks. Original call from OnStar reported airbag deployment and a male with an eye injury. Vehicle was towed from the scene and the was driver was taken to ECMC for treatment. Accident report completed.


01/30/23:

Suspicious Person.

Home Court Street.

-A female resident reported that a male came up onto her porch and asked her children to go to church with him. The complainant just wanted to make patrol aware of this, there was no other contact reported. Deputies will continue to check the area.


01/31/23:

Unwelcome Guest.

Irving Street.

-Mother called to report her son is making verbal threats against her. Deputies arrived and spoke to the son. The son agreed to spend the night at another location.


02/02/23:

First Aid.

Duchess Lane.

-54 year old male with emphysema feeling ill. Deputies respond with Alden Fire. The male was transported to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital by LVAC


02/03/23:

Fire Other.

Rusher Drive.

-Tenant called to report smoke alarms going off in the apartment below his. Fire responded and reported a faulty Detector. All else appeared in order.
