ECSO Patrol Logs For Boston, Colden, Collins, Concord, Holland, Sardinia, and Springville.

Town: Boston


03.17.23

Traffic Complaint

Boston State Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Boston State Rd at about 9:00 pm for a traffic complaint involving a vehicle swerving and unable to maintain its lane. Patrol checked the area, however the vehicle was unable to be located, and no further complaints were received.


03.21.23

Alarm

N Boston Rd.

Patrol responded to a N Boston Rd address at about 1:45 am after receiving a burglary alarm activation from the residence. Upon investigation, the alarm was determined to be a false activation.

03.17.23

Property Damage Accident

State Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of State Rd for a property damage accident after a caller reported that vehicle had struck a deer that had run into the roadway. The vehicle involved left the scene prior to Patrol’s arrival and the incident was documented by Patrol.


03.22.23

Fire

State Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of State Rd at about 6:00 pm, for a report of black smoke in the area. The smoke was eventually determined to be from an individual burning garbage, and the fire was extinguished without further incident.

DWI

Main St.

Following a traffic stop and subsequent investigation, Patrol did arrest Abbey Benton, 32 years old of Sinclairville, Ny, after she was found to be driving while intoxicated. Ms Benton was charged with DWI as well as various other traffic offenses, and was eventually transported to the Erie County Holding Center to be held pending arraignment.

Alarm

Vail Rd.

Patrol responded to a Vail Rd address at about 5:15 pm for a report of an alarm activation. Upon further investigation, the alarm was determined to be a false alarm.

03.22.23

Alarm

Grote Rd.

Patrol responded to a Grote Rd residence after receiving a report of a burglary alarm activation from the home. Upon investigation, the alarm was determined to be a false alarm.


03.15.23

Property Damage Accident

Springville Boston Rd .

Patrol responded to the intersection of Springville Boston Rd and Genesee Rd for a property damage accident after two vehicles collided at the intersection. No injuries were reported and one of the vehicles was towed from the scene due to damage from the accident. An accident report was filed by Patrol.

03.17.23

Burglary

S Cascade Dr.

Patrol responded to the Emerling Ford dealership on S Cascade Dr for a burglary complaint after it was discovered that two vehicles had been stolen from the business sometime overnight. The vehicles were recorded as stolen and both were eventually able to be located. The ECSO Detective Bureau continues to investigate the incident.

Fraud

Franklin St.

Patrol was contacted by a complainant wishing to file a fraud report, after the complainant received a phone call from a person impersonating a police officer, who demanded the complainant meet the imposter and pay $15,000 in bail money. The complainant was advised and the incident was documented.

Referral

Savage Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Savage Rd after a utility pole was discovered to be broken. The area was secured and the utility company was advised of the needed repairs to the pole.


03.23.23

Property Damage Accident

Olean Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Olean Rd for a property damage accident, after a vehicle drove off the roadway and became stuck in a field. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was eventually recovered from the field without incident.

Alarm

Gales Ct.

Patrol responded to a Gales Ct address at about 2:00 am after receiving a burglary alarm activation. Upon investigation the alarm was determined to be a false activation.


03.19.23

Property Damage Accident

Savage Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Savage Rd for a property damage accident after a vehicle lost control on the snow covered roadway and became stuck in a ditch. No injuries or damages to the vehicle were reported, and the vehicle was eventually recovered by roadside services.

Injury Accident

Genesee Rd.

Patrol responded to the area of Genesee Rd for an accident with injury after a vehicle drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Minor injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene due to damage from the accident. An accident report was filed by Patrol.
