ECSO Patrol Logs for Alden and Marilla from 3/11 Through 3/17.

Town of Alden

03/11/23
Motorist Broke Down
Broadway Street at Sandridge Road.
Deputies responded to a vehicle that had broken down. When Deputies arrived, they discovered the plates were suspended for no insurance. Deputies confiscated the plates and the vehicle was permitted to be left in a nearby business’ parking lot. The operator of the vehicle was advised.

Fire Unknown
Westwood Road at Townline Road.
Deputies responded to a fire in the work shop in rear of building. Crittenden Fire responded and a police report was taken.

Welfare Check
County Line Road.
Deputies responded for a 911 hang up call. Home owner advised that he was fixing his home phone. Everything was ok

Welfare Check
Walden Ave.
Deputies responded to a 911 hang up call. Deputies spoke to the parties at the facility, and it appears to be a phone malfunction. Everything appears normal.

Suspicious Vehicle
Three Rod Road.
Caller stated that there is a maroon vehicle parked across the street. Deputies checked vehicle and everything was valid. No suspicious activity found.

Alarm Burglary Business
Broadway Road.
Deputies responded to a silent panic alarm at the Tops Gas Station. Patrol spoke to the employees on site, who stated it was a false alarm.

Accident Property Damage
Walden Ave.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch. Deputies responded and reported no injuries. Vehicle off the road and not a hazard. Owner is contacting a tow to winch out the vehicle.
Village of Alden
03/12/23
Traffic Complaint
Elm Street.
Caller stated that her husband left their house intoxicated. Patrol checked the area for his vehicle but was unable to locate it.

03/15/23
Traffic Complaint
Broadway Street at Crittenden Road.
Caller reported a blue Mitsubishi operating all over the roadway. Deputies were unable to catch up to the vehicle before it went into Genesee County. Genesee County 911 was notified.

03/17/23
Road Obstruction
Exchange Street at Railroad Street.
Patrol was called to check on RR crossing arms down with no train on tracks. Patrol advised Norfolk Southern RR of the issue.
Town of Marilla
03/11/23
Attempt to locate
Bullis Road.
Deputies were called to help locate a male that had not returned from a wedding in Rochester. During the Deputy’s preliminary investigation, the male called, and stated that he was out of town and OK.

03/14/23
Vehicle off the roadway
Coleman Road.
Caller stated that a female just crashed into a guardrail in front of her house. Caller stated that the female got out of the car and ran down the street. Deputies located the female at her house. She stated that she went home to call her husband. The vehicle was removed.

Alarm Burglary Residential
Wood Brook CT.
Deputies responded to a garage door alarm. Before Deputies arrived, the proper passcode was given.
