Alarm Burglary Business

Broadway

Deputies responded to a general burglar alarm at a business on Broadway. Deputies checked the building and everything seemed secure. The key holder was notified.

Fraud

Crittenden Road

The caller reported that she has given money and her social security number to a person on Facebook. The male subject claimed to be a service member being deployed. The complainant was advised and a police report was completed.

Suspicious Incident

N Millgrove Road

The caller stated they heard 3 loud explosions. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the source.

Unwelcome Guest

Walden Ave

The caller stated that they terminated an employee and he is refusing to leave. Deputies responded to the Walden Avenue business, however, the former employee had already left. Deputies advised staff to call again if the person returned.

Fraud

Broadway Ave

The caller stated that her daughter was most likely a victim of a scam. She received a check for $1,900 and was told to deposit it in her account. She was then asked to withdraw $1,700 and send it back, keeping $200. They were able to put a hold on the $1,700 so no money was lost. The complainant was advised and the Bank is aware of the situation.

Deputies responded to a Broadway business for a 911 hang-up call. Deputies checked the business and everything seemed secure.

Deputies respond to a two-vehicle accident. No injuries and both vehicles drivable. Information exchange completed.

Noise Complaint

Bush Gardens Street

Deputies respond to a loud music complaint within Bush Gardens. Deputies noticed that the homeowner was asleep. After many attempts, the subject woke up and turned down the music.

Bush Gardens Street

Deputies helped search for a 10-year-old female that headed into the woods with a lantern. The child was located and returned safely home. All parties were advised.

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident. No injuries and both vehicles are drivable. Information exchange only.

Caller stated he noticed fraudulent charges on his account. The complainant was advised to gather documentation so the Deputies can complete the report.

Unknown Trouble

Eastwood Road

Deputies responded for a 911 open line. Spoke to the homeowner who stated they have a 911 button that might have been pressed by mistake. Everything appeared secure.
