West Seneca, NY – On June 27, 2021 at approximately 4:40 a.m., State Police responded to a report of a vehicle blocking the right lane on I-90 in the town of West Seneca. Once Troopers arrived on scene, they observed a female asleep at the wheel, parked in the right lane of travel, with the engine running.
After several attempts, Troopers were able to wake the driver to check on her well-being.
The driver, Shamecca D. Minor, 25, of Cheektowaga, NY, was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Buffalo where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .20%.
Additionally, Minor has two previous DWI convictions within the last 10 years and as a result was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class D Felony.
Ms. Minor was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of West Seneca Court.
