Cheektowaga, NY: Cheektowaga Police responded to a Redwood Dr. address early Saturday morning for a report of a disturbance.  At about 1:20am officers arrived at the house on Redwood Dr. and reported a large party with an estimated 200 people present.  The party was just breaking up but as people made their way out of the yard, a physical fightbroke out involving multiple people.

As officers approached the fight they observed a male display a handgun and fire multiple rounds into the air.  Officers ordered the male to drop the gun but the male took off running.  Several officers pursued the suspect on foot and as he ran through yards officers reported observing him attempt to throw the gun onto a house roof.  After a lengthy foot chase, the suspect was taken into custody.
