Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that after a month-long narcotics investigation, the Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Adriane Roman of Tonawanda on multiple drug-related charges.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. on October 20, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team entered Roman’s residence at 123 Hawthorne Avenue in Tonawanda. After the team secured the location, the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit searched the dwelling.
Deputies and Detectives recovered two separate packages of cocaine; .5 kilograms and 1 kilogram. The unit also recovered a quantity of crack cocaine, scales, a money counting machine, a large amount of U.S. Currency, and multiple pieces of high-end jewelry.
Roman is charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Roman was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
