Suspected narcotics were located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 36-year-old Angola woman was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 40-year-old Angola man was charged with Tampering with Evidence and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 7th Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udd34 SUSPECTED FENTANYL &amp; CRACK COCAINE \u2014 CONCORD\/SPRINGVILLE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to a parking lot on South Cascade Drive on August 12 for a report of a woman slumped over in the front seat of a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies reported seeing suspected crack cocaine in plain view. Their investigation also reportedly located suspected fentanyl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 32-year-old Holland woman was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude94 29 LICENSE SUSPENSIONS \u2014 CLARENCE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During an August 8 traffic stop, deputies discovered that a 27-year-old Clarence man allegedly had 29 suspensions from 16 different dates on his driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf7a DWI ARRESTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several DWI arrests were reported during the week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Clarence: A 50-year-old Akron woman was charged with DWI after deputies reported observing a vehicle traveling 57 mph in a 35 mph zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Grand Island: A 38-year-old Niagara Falls woman was charged with DWI after deputies reported observing her vehicle having difficulty maintaining its lane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Marilla: A 53-year-old Marilla man was charged with DWI after deputies reportedly observed a pickup truck failing to maintain its lane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Seneca Nation: A 68-year-old Angola man was charged with DWI after deputies investigated a collision involving two vehicles near a gas pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcb0 $10,000 BITCOIN WARRANT SCAM \u2014 BOSTON<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A complainant reported falling victim to a warrant scam and depositing $10,000 into a Bitcoin ATM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case was referred to the Erie County Sheriff&#8217;s Office Detective Bureau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude91 ATV COLLISION SENDS OPERATOR TO ECMC \u2014 WALES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies investigated an injury accident on Hunters Creek Road involving a vehicle and an ATV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the report, a vehicle was attempting to pass the ATV on the left when the ATV suddenly made an abrupt left turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collision caused the ATV to overturn onto its side. Its operator was transported to ECMC with minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude91 DRIVER FOUND SUFFERING MEDICAL EMERGENCY \u2014 NORTH COLLINS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A caller reported a vehicle sitting idle at an intersection and not moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When deputies arrived, they determined the driver was experiencing a medical emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seneca EMS responded and transported the individual to ECMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udd25 BUSINESS FIRE INVESTIGATED \u2014 HOLLAND<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to a reported business fire on Olean Road on August 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The building was ultimately determined to be unoccupied, and the Fire Investigation Unit was requested to respond and investigate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude97 INJURY CRASH \u2014 ALDEN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vehicle traveling southbound on County Line Road reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way while crossing Broadway and was struck by a vehicle traveling on Broadway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One person was treated by Darien Fire for a head laceration and arm pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude9a FEDEX VEHICLE INVOLVED IN CRASH \u2014 BOSTON<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies investigated a two-vehicle crash involving a FedEx vehicle on August 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both vehicles were towed, and both drivers were treated at the scene by EMS for head and neck pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udea8 HIT-AND-RUN INVESTIGATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Sardinia: A vehicle reportedly struck two porch posts while turning from Olean Road onto Allen Road and continued from the scene. The investigation remains pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Newstead\/Akron: An unknown vehicle struck a fire hydrant on Rapids Road, tipping it to the side. The Water Authority was notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\uded2 SHOPLIFTING ARREST \u2014 CLARENCE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to Walmart for a reported shoplifting in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigators determined a 38-year-old Buffalo woman allegedly skip-scanned approximately $38 worth of merchandise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was charged with Petit Larceny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udecd\ufe0f LARCENY ARREST \u2014 SENECA NATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to Gifted Cannabis for a reported larceny in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subject had been detained by Seneca Nation Marshals. Investigators alleged the individual took merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 46-year-old Dunkirk man was charged with Petit Larceny and subsequently turned over to New York State Police on an active bench warrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf33 ILLEGAL DUMPING \u2014 WALES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Town officials reported that an unknown individual had allegedly dumped rolls of insulation into a creek bed on Goodleberg Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc04 YES, THAT REALLY HAPPENED: COW ON THE LOOSE \u2014 SARDINIA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies received a report of a cow that had gotten loose and was approaching the roadway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies contacted the owner, who responded to secure the wandering bovine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc08 AND THE CAT PULLED THE FIRE ALARM \u2014 BOSTON<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to an apartment complex on Boston State Road for a fire alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No smoke.<br>No fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investigation determined that a cat had pulled a string and activated the fire alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apparently someone wanted the Fire Department to come visit. \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\udc08\u200d\u2b1b\ud83d\ude92<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc15 GOOD NEWS TO END THE BLOTTER \u2014 WALES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A dog entered Big Tree Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dog fled following the collision but was later located and, thankfully, was reported to be in good condition. The vehicle sustained bumper damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccc All charges are accusations.
